The Singer

The idea was to create an inteligent, but entirely non-humanoid creature native to a low-gravity, aquatic world. A complicated order. I rather like how it turned out. In retrospect, I almost wish I hadn't given it tow eyes in the middle of its head, since that makes it just a little bit too human for the initial premise, but doing so would make it more difficult - perhaps even impossible - to convey hat slight suggestion of intelligence I required. Another requirement was that it have something -suggestive- of wings, though suitable to an aquatic environment. I think this radial fin-like assembly of limbs fits that bill nicely. All told, I'm quite proud of this design.
